Pietro Di Pilato is Senior Vice President, Technical, Innovation and Brand Change for Diageo North America. In addition to leading technical, innovation and brand change teams, he is also responsible for directing groups managing governance and regulatory issues, research and development, science and packaging technology.

Previously, Mr. Di Pilato was Senior Vice President, North America Manufacturing and Distillation, where he oversaw Diageo’s distillation, maturing spirit and bottling operations across the U.S. and Canada and led the engineering function and the operational performance of the North America third party manufacturing base. While in this role, Mr. Di Pilato also managed the transformation of Conversion for North America Supply by driving safety, quality, compliance and operational performance through the North America Supply Excellence strategic initiative.

Earlier, as Vice President of Operations at Diageo’s facility in Relay, Maryland, he led a major change journey and made significant contributions to the company’s manufacturing organization and the wider North America Supply business. Mr. Di Pilato joined Diageo in 2006 as Director of Operations at the company’s Dorval facility in Quebec, Canada.

Prior to Diageo, Mr. Di Pilato served as Director of Operations for food manufacturer Kai Conveni Global Inc.  Mr. Di Pilato started his career with Unilever Bestfoods North America where he spent more than 15 years and served in various manufacturing roles.
